2009 has proved to be a challenge to so many of us in a variety of different ways but in the context of the Cost of Living UAE Report it has been the unpredictability of the whole market situation that really prevented Kershaw Leonard from publishing the 2009/2010 edition in the traditional May time frame. We did not see the point in researching data in January and February that stood a very high probability of being completely out of date by the time we came to publish the report.
However, we do recognise such uncertainty as being the very time business managers need all the information they can get to help them plan for the future. Added to the mounting feeling that the Middle East has seen the worst of the economic slow down we have decided to publish the 2009/2010 Cost of Living UAE Report in October of this year, which we hope will be an optimal timeframe for 2010 budgets and forecasts.
