1. Leveraging yourself
To leverage yourself means to multiply your time by setting up an MSI through efforts of others. You can work your daily job and then get a second job to improve your income, and that is how far you can go, because you are running out of time. When you set up MSI you are not running out of time, because others are there. You can have 10, 50, 100 MSI's? There is no limit. It is common for some people to have a day job, few shares earning dividend, rental property earning rent, a garage sale or two, which means they already have MSI. Unless they get serious with the idea of MSI, they will get on occasion a few extra dollars and that is about it.
The real MSI strategy should have foundation, commitment and determination. Internet has enabled us to communicate across the world and reach almost every person on this planet. Millions of people are searching Internet every minute to find something that they need or want. Each of those needs or wants is a potential for another MSI.
2. The power of MSI
We often associate MSI with rich and famous, and automatically and unconsciously exclude ourselves of possibility to getting the results they have.
How many sources of income famous celebrity may have? We don't know, often they themselves don't know. They engage others to take care of their MSI's. They would have income from their sponsors, royalty from their published autobiography, income from advertising, rental income from their villa, some stocks on the stock market, income from chartering their yacht or private jet, income from their fashion or cosmetic line, appearance fees, exclusive interviews and list goes on. Their MSI work even when they are dead. That is the power of MSI.
3. Setting up an MSI
Internet has enormous potential and has opened doors to thousands of MSI opportunities. There is one misconception though, we are conditioned to believe that investment is risky, and we are conditioned to believe that Internet is a scam. That is true, that is why we use risk management tools. It is true that there are predators and schemers on the Internet, but also there are much more honest and genuine MSI opportunities. If we want to succeed,then it is important to do homework, to learn how to identify genuine opportunity from scam.
To start MSI, you don't have to quit your daily job and you don't need tons of money either. You can research on your own, if you know what you are looking for, or you can find a mentor who will guide you. Either way, you have to know what you are doing and be confident that you will succeed. You can, for start join affiliate program, which is promoting somebody else's product and you get paid commission. Doesn't cost you a cent. You can sell something on e-Bay. Write an e-book about something that you are good at, write a newsletter and so on. As you start and grow, new ideas and opportunities will keep coming.
Focus on one idea at a time. It does not matter if it takes one or six months to develop it, but when is up and running you can start on another one and so on. Few years down the track you will have ten, fifteen MSI. Now you are ready to start thinking about giving up daily job and take the road to freedom.
