Ämne: 10 Traits of Successful People
I love to read books on personal development as I believe that those information that I have read will help to contribute to my success. Another habit I have is that I love to observe people who are successful and find out what are some of the traits that they have that make them so successful. I am going to share with you 10 traits that I have found.
1.Learn constantly
* Successful people never stop learning and they do not hesitate to pay for education. They know that education can help them to keep on improving and the only day they stop learning is the day where they stop being successful.
2. Work hard
* Is there any successful people you know that did not work hard to get the results that they have now? I highly doubt so. All the stories that I had read about successful people consist of them working hard to get to where they are now. They know nobody is going to hand them their success and the only way they can achieve it is to work hard for it.
3. Don't quit
* Successful people just hate to quite. They know that obstacles are parts and parcels of life but they do not quit when they meet them. Instead, they see them as opportunities and work through them.
4. Set goals
* They always set goals for themselves so that they have something to aim for. Without a goal, it is hard to have a direction and it is just like being in a jungle without a compass.
5. Think big
* If you do not think big, you will not achieve anything big. Simple as it is. People who are successful always think big and they set goals that can stretch themselves. This will help to push them further in life to achieve more results too.
6. Belief
* Successful people always believe in their own abilities. If you believe you can do it, you will be able to unleash your hidden potential inside you to help you achieve what you want. People who have limiting beliefs live and act as their own beliefs. As what Henry Ford said, "Whether you think that you can, or that you can't, you are usually right."
7. Network
* Networking is an important step as it can help you to meet other people who are able to help you in your career or business. This will help to speed up the process of achieving success.
8. Responsible
* They always take responsibility for their own life and this mean that they do not blame, whine or complain about things. They believe that everything happen for a reason and they are able to do something to avoid what they do not want. They want to control their own destiny instead of letting it fall into others hand. So in order to achieve that, they accept responsibility for their own life.
9. Live in the present
* There will be things that we cannot control, such as who will win a 100m race at the Olympics finals or past that cannot be undone. If we spend too much time thinking about these things that we cannot control , we will be wasting time and energy. Successful people do not like to waste time and they would live in the present and consider what they can do now instead of thinking of what will happen in the future or things that cannot be undone.
10. Do more than they are required to
* People who fail are normally people who do less than what that are required. However successful people do more than what is expected of them. If they need to close 10 sales to hit the target, they would try to stretch themselves and try to hit 20 instead.
